Richard Vieira

Bio

Richard Vieira is a seasoned investment banker and technology finance expert with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Harvard Business School as an Executive Fellow, he held leadership roles at major financial institutions, including Stifel Financial, BMO Capital Markets, and Cowen Inc., where he served as Co-Head of Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking. He began his career at Broadview International, later acquired by Jefferies, specializing in technology mergers and acquisitions. Vieira also co-founded 2SV Capital, a private equity and advisory firm focused on tech sector investments. His expertise spans M&A advisory, capital markets, and private equity, with a strong focus on software, internet, and emerging technology companies. Throughout his career, Vieira has played a key role in advising mid-market and high-growth tech companies on strategic transactions and financings. As a leader in technology investment banking, he has helped expand the technology practices at several firms, guiding clients through complex financial transactions.
